I used to have a dog, well it was a relationship dog, she bought a pup that was half rot, half lab, the best of both worlds considering that I wanted a rot, and she wanted a lab.
We had her a bit before we named her, couldnt think of anything that fit. At the time, we were heavily into the Sandman series by Gaiman, and it was decided on night to name her Loki.
For those of you who dont know, Loki is the Norse god of mischief, and remember people, your animal will take on the name you give them whether you like it or not.
That little shit was a pain in the ass while she was growing up, worshipped the fucking ground that I walked on, and I snubbed her all the way.
I have only one regret from the entire relationship, when we were breaking up, I took some of my aggressions out on the poor dog, and to this day, it still bothers me. I saw my fathers temper come out, and took some of it out on a dog that would have done anything for me.
I cant apologize to a being that wont understand, cause the dog loved me anyways, so Im apologizing to her owner. If I could take back one thing, it would be hurting that dog.
