So I have to say that today, I was incredibly geeked out. Beyond my family, my biggest passion in life is music - listening to it, writing it, performing it. And ever since the day, nearly 5 years ago, that my boys and I started this band, it's been a dream of mine to get into an actual studio with someone we know and trust and get these songs out there to people the way I know they can be recorded -- cause I know I'm sure as hell no producer. Today, we did just that. We met with an old mutual friend, got to do a little networking, got to see his in-progress home studio, and in 3 weeks, we'll be getting in there and recording.

Holy fuuuuuuuck.

2 weeks later, we finally hit the stage again for an outdoor summer 4th of July weekend gig we put together. This is shaping up to be one hell of a next couple months. \m/
