So, just got back from my romp around town. Turns out we had to leave the house as my power cord blew up and caught fire. Thank you Apple... I had to go buy a new power cord (though it was recalled and they never sent me the new one) for the well rounded price of $99. Or, Euro actually. Come on! Like I could go without SG for a day????!
Went to the Stedelijk. It was nothing but crap really. A couple of Chagall's and a film by Dennis Hopper of this homeless ex-dancer (a girl named Devon whom I worked with for a long time). Other than that the museum was over half empty or closed. When we complained at the front that they were charging full price for admission, yet had no warning of the lack of art to be seen- we got the standard Dutch Answer "here is a form you can fill out and send in to make a complaint.". I know I said I would not complain about the Dutch anymore, but they are RETARDED!!!!!!
Then we went to the Anne Frankhuis. Everyone always says how small it is. Funny thing, most Dutch people live like that now. David made an ass out of himself by trying to explain to the guy at the front about the parcel I found hidden in a wall of our house. That got us sent to the Anne Frank documentation office where he proceded to try to tell the story, filling in missing information with stuff he made up. I clarified what we found and the woman was almost drooling thinking about the potential in it. Get this! They told us that Dutch people find such things quite often when doing construction on their homes, but they simply throw them away because they do not want to deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm telling you, they are selfish and retarded! These are the people who "invented" the use of apartheid. I swear, no more Nedercomplaints. Ugh, I've got to leave this country.
