I finally sold my mother's (rest her soul 
) 25-year-old unused sewing machine today. My grandmother knew this nicewoman from church who does sewing wanted the machine. My grandmother was trying to sell it for years and wanted me to sell it.
After work, I went to her house to show it to her. Since it was an antique which my grandma paid $339.95 years ago. she wrote me a check for $350.00!
I thought I was gonna to get somewhere around $500.00. but I can settle for $350.00, no biggie.
I can usethat to pay my school loan and my plane ticket to Atlanta on July. I got lucky today!

I don't think that if your mum wanted to keep it, she would have let that go as well as it did. I'm happy for you sweetheart, and I'm sure mum is too.
