Today was the first time I've had a chance to watch the "Kony 2012" movie on YouTube. It's gone viral in record time but between work and everything I never got a chance to watch it until today.

If you're unfamiliar with "Kony 2012" it's an effort to bring attention to Joseph Kony, the leader of the "Lord's Resistance Army" in Uganda. Kony's LRA is responsible for the abduction of over 30,000 children!!! Young boys as young as 6 and 7 are forced to become child soldiers in the LRA and young girls are forced into sexual slavery.
"Invisible Children" is the name of the organization that put this movie together and is trying to raise awareness in the hopes of capturing Joseph Kony in 2012 and putting an end to his horrible reign of terror.
If you haven't watched the movie, it's only 27 minutes long. Please watch it. Then pass it on to your friends. Make them aware. If you can, donate a few dollars, Euro, Lire, Pounds or whatever currency your country has. A little can make a big difference.
No young girl or any woman should be forced into sexual slavery. No young boy should be forced to kill his parents and other people simply to appease a madman like Kony.
