I had some goldfish once. Big, fat, orange goldfish. Orangefish. They crapped a lot and the aquarium water turned murky within a few days of cleaning the tank, so I bought these drops that you put in the water to clear things up and make it all purty again. I used too much. My fish went blind.
I left the aquarium light on at night and would lie in bed and watch my fish. Watch them blindly bump into the glass walls. Stunned, they would slowly sink to the bottom of the tank and double bump when they hit the gravel. This cycle continued over and over and over and over. Until I flushed them down the toilet.
