I've just finished watching "Pumpkin" with Christina Ricci, and I think I might be in love again!

love *rushes out to find Buffalo 66*

I found the movie itself to be fairly entertaining but the sound track on the other hand is gold! There's one of the greatest Belle and Sebastian songs ever written placed right in the middle of it!

"Stars of track and field"

There's also another great unreleased S&B song that comes in moments before the film ends. Brilliant!

In other news, I'm pretty excited about tomorrow nights activities! Our drummer has decided to purchase a new kit and I have the honors of picking him up, driving him downtown, and bringing it home. He has decided on a five piece Pearl export select. Not bad at all! I've really tried to talk him into a five piece Gretsch, but he says the hardware won't be strong enough longterm. I think he's probably right judging from the kits I've seen them produce, they seem to be smaller jazz kits. I just think they look so wicked! The kit will be set up and left at my house until we find a new hall - a brand new kit I can beat the shit out of tomorrow night!

Woo Hoo biggrin

I hope he doesn't get a chance to read this. Hee!

Pearl Export! My old set!

It's defintely decent; should do you guys well. I fucked the poor thing up by never getting cases for my set (I'm always broke), otherwise I'd probably still have that kit.

And, "Stars of Track & Field" is my fave B&S song!

I loved Buffalo 66...it made me laugh and cry...but I still think my favorite 1990s movie is The Ice Storm.

I'm not sure how far Toronto is. I'm guessing the same driving time as Boston from here?? I'm too lazy to go check maps, too. Maps are wrong, anyway, They're a tool of the government.

I like hitting drums.
