Today is a new day! Much like yesterday! In fact it's much like all the other days - except it's Saturday!
Woo Hoo!
I have been running around all morning trying to get all the shit we need to practice today. We lost our jam space about a month ago, and haven't been able to play with our drummer since. When we lost our space, we also lost a lot of little odds and ends that you accumulate over the years. Not to mention our PA stands. Not an easy item for four broke kids to try and replace. However, there is a small A./V rental place just around the corner from my house. When I was in there the other night buying all these cables and mike stands and other strange pieces I thought I'd never have to replace again, I guess he felt bad for us, because he lent us two heavily used PA stands until we can manage to find the money to buy new.
Of course I will buy off him the second were ready. Seems like a smart business move if you ask me?
Never the less, the guy is obviously rad!
So, today I will try and make some noise in my house again. We will see how things go - only a trial! The last time we practiced in a house, we had three complaints in just over an hour. We had to stop.
I like rock and roll as much as the next person, I just don't know if I'm willing to deal with the police at my door step three nights a week?

Tomorrow - think I'll bike with a friend, AOL IM Franchise, maybe watch golf with my dad? I might break into some Coke machines for quarters or replace Dick Cheney as Vice President.
