Physically - Tonight was a very productive night.

Mentally - I feel like I've just taken three giant steps in reverse.

We spent the entire night wiring the remainder our new "jam hall" and laying the last pieces of carpet. Hopefully I can take some pictures and post them soon. We've put a tone of work into it and it's still not completely sound proof, but it's as close as we're ever going to get.

We took some time when we we're finished and ran through some newer stuff. Vocals are incredible... but everything else sounds like shit. It's such a different sound to get use to. All the sound is completely sucked into the walls - I'm beginning to understand why P/A systems and amps have a mid knob selection.

Just as we we're finishing tonight one of my buddy's came over and was explaining how fucked up my ex girl friend seems to be right now. She is on all kinds of crazy medication and is just beginning to hit the bottle really hard. Prozac and alcohol just don't mix properly. I know this shit first hand.

I'm just beginning to see this new girl (who by the way is incredible) I'm going to Toronto to see her tomorrow night - she is opening for an electronic band by her self. She's such a beautiful and talented girl. I can't wait to see her live. She seems really excited and nervous at the same time about me being there.

I have all these great things happening right now, and I can't get my ex girl friend off my mind. Not in a relationship sort of way... I just really hope she has her head on straight and doesn't fuck with her self too much right now.

As much as we're done - I wonder if I'll ever really stop thinking about her? It's all very confusing,
