The truck loan went through (as well as a little extra for the re-issue twin reverb I've been wanting) but the bank doesn't need to know about that!
Bad news:
The truck has sold!
So fucking typical!
But, I've since found a new toy, a restored 1980 Jeep CJ-7. It's still pretty rock and roll, big and black, and seems to fit the budget! Meaning food on the table and alcohol in the tummy. I won't post pictures of this one until it's in my driveway. I think my bad karma fucked the last situation up, so I'll just try to keep my fingers crossed and my mouth shut until this purchase is complete.
In other news the band is really beginning to move forward. I sort of hate talking about this on SG (I don't know why - I must be very self conscious) so I'll try to keep it short. We are going into the Studio in two weeks time to help break some new gigs in the Toronto area. If we can put together the proper promotional kit again, we might get some of the bigger gigs we want. We will do this under the table and live off the floor. It should be fairly cheap and fairly simple, very little over dubs using very few tracks. It will just be a three song banger so we can start to promote ourselves again.
Things currently seem to be in there place! I know it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does I'm smiling.
