SOLD OUT = WE'RE SOLD OUT. WE DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE HAS TICKETS. SORRY!

SO JUST AS WE DECIDE TO KILL THE SARS MORON CLASSIFICATION, ANOTHER ROUND OF IDIOTS DECIDE TO CANCEL THEIR TORONTO SHOWS, USING THE SARS MYTH AS THE REASON. SINCE THERE IS NO SARS HERE, WE CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT THE REAL REASON IS THAT THESE DWEEBS, WHO ARE MOSTLY AMERICAN...

The band is almost at the point where we can start playing shows again! I'm really excited. Free drinks and self improvement. Nothing helps you to grow and learn better then performing.

I hope I can use that little pic section to upload some band shit really soon, not to mention bedroom action!?! *all in good humor*

... ditto, minus the drink thing, i'm dry so far tonight, but i may change that once or twice over before i get to bed. i think i may have the scud mountain boys on a comp. somewhere. and yeah, wilco is definitely great, i'm going see them next month in philly with mutha' fuckin' sonic youth (that's excitement)...

*Beginning to wonder why he never has replies in his journal!?! - Is Cheech the only one that wonders? The only one who loves me? The only one who cares?*

Hee! biggrin
cheech:
I think plasticfangs cares, but he's a lazy sod. I'm a lazy sod too, but I'm the type of lazy sod who sits around all day on SG. elvisfromhell likes The Electric Eels, so he's a degenerate. EveL is ummm too hot for words, so she can't type words, so she can't reply in your journal. The other folks, I can't account for.

A flan is a Latino custard-type dish. You make one, then squish it in your hands.

hey dude what about me?!!?!?!?! frown *sobs* lol

This was a shitty weekend! On the bright side, there was finally some really decent weather for a change. I spent the majority of Friday night waiting around for one of my buddies to finish work, so we could go and drink some pints. He originally thought he would be done at 9:00, but it ended up being 11:00.

By the time he meet me...

I wonder if the site looks all fudged up to anyone else? I took today off and did nothing but sleep, write, and drink semi cold coffee. It was fantastic! Sometimes I wake up and just don't want to leave my house. There were so many loose ends surrounding me, I was beginning to go mad. I had to sacrifice a days wage and clean...

this is my last weekend before school starts...i hafta cut my toenails and buy toilet paper. i guess i've already done all the other stuff i needed to do on my break.
passionate eye is definately a good show! in fact i like to just sit in front of the cbc on sundays 'cause that's when they tend to play the best stuff, like that and Foreign Assignment with Ian the-hansome-man-thang.(that's what my buddie's biology teacher calls him. get it? instead of Nahatomansing or whatever. heh heh

I've been feeling sort of bad lately! I have totally neglected our Suicide models. I don't take the time anymore to even figure out which ones are new? This could maybe be attributed to the fact that there are way to many girls to keep track of. This has all been brought up because I've noticed that the girls at the top of my profile...

I'm beginning to think I was born to play the drums? My neighbors must really hate me. I actually woke up to have a quick piss last night (2:00 or 3:00) and when that new kit caught my eyes in the moon light, I just had to sit down!

Maybe it's a sickness! Drumalitiss - or some damn thing?

*wonders why he ever spent all...

Deer Hunter! I wanna rent that, too! I haven't seen that in years! Christpoher Walken, baby!

I sleep between 7 1/2 down to 4 1/2 hours a night., depending if I go out to a club or something (trying to get more sleep recently...me like sleep).

when I had my drums at home, I had a routine; go to garage, play drums for about twenty minutes, go back inside for a half hour, go back to dums; repeat. I ended up playing almost 7 hours a day on my days off! But now that all of our stuff is at the rehearsal studio, I hardly get to practice at all anymore... frown

cheech:
You're playing drums at 3 a.m. and GUESSING the neighbors hate you?
Didn't dig the Deer Hunter. The whole wedding parts were fine n all; the whole roulette thing just gets way too unreal for me. I guess it's an allegory. Buh.

I haven't slept much in the past few...months, years ...uh, I dunno when I last got 8 hours...but I prefer to do stuff at night, and then just can't sleep in the morning. 12 to 1 a.m. is good reading or online time to me.

I have just planned to go downtown Toronto this coming Friday and see Mr. Joel Plasket and his band the Emergency. I have been STRONGLY advised not to head down there. Do not enter the city of Toronto.

S.A.R.S.

I'm begging to wonder if it's really half as bad as they say it is? You guys have probably heard next to nothing regarding this issue....

I've just finished watching "Pumpkin" with Christina Ricci, and I think I might be in love again!

love *rushes out to find Buffalo 66*

I found the movie itself to be fairly entertaining but the sound track on the other hand is gold! There's one of the greatest Belle and Sebastian songs ever written placed right in the middle of it!

"Stars of track and field"...

Pearl Export! My old set!

It's defintely decent; should do you guys well. I fucked the poor thing up by never getting cases for my set (I'm always broke), otherwise I'd probably still have that kit.

And, "Stars of Track & Field" is my fave B&S song!

biggrin
cheech:
I loved Buffalo 66...it made me laugh and cry...but I still think my favorite 1990s movie is The Ice Storm.

I'm not sure how far Toronto is. I'm guessing the same driving time as Boston from here?? I'm too lazy to go check maps, too. Maps are wrong, anyway, They're a tool of the government.

I like hitting drums.

Fuck. I have to work on my taxes today. I really hope I can just rip the program I need (Taxwiz) off the internet. I don't know if the program will work or not, because it is a one time use type of thing. Then they self destruct! The company advises that the disc is taken out of your computer moments after your forms are...

I've just stumbled across a "FANTASTIC" Canadian band!

"A Northern Chorus"

They're signed to a small record label I was almost on, way back in high school. Check them out, especially track six - For those of us gone.

Holly shit... do they ever remind me of Jeremy Enick's solo work.

I think I'm in love! love

I wish I had planned something to write ahead of time. It would be nice, rather then just sitting down and pounding away sporadically at the keys. Oh well.

I accomplished very little this weekend! I did a whole shit load of sitting around and drinking. The problem is non of it was planned. It was never like "hey, it's a nice day why don't...

Band is kinda between names at the moment...getting a group of very indepent-thinking chaos to decide on a band name is a very trying ordeal, I'm sure you know...we were called The Buzzsaw Heart, but now we might be called Black Holiday (not too keen on either..but they could be worse, I suppose).

And yes; sometimes, no plans are the best plans of all! wink The best nights are the ones that sneak up and surprise you, where you start out lost and you end up somewhere new, and meet new people, etc...at any rate, it's nice to hear you had such a pleasant weekend!

(If you ever come to CA, I'll show you some cool spots in LA, I ppromise!)

Let me think about your question and get back to you...
rosalyn:
Enh, my friends and I rarely make plans. We just sorta meet up and go from there. And, haha, it usually ends up being just hanging out somewhere and drinking.

Hmm, music actually bugs me when I'm sleeping. Assuming it's music I like, I just listen to it instead of sleeping. Thanks for the recommendations though - I like mellowish music. Haha, actually, I'm not a Mum fan, her voice bugs the hell out of me. tongue But I plan on checking out the other two. wink
