Well, this is one of those morbid questions, like "Your mother, best friend n girlfriend are drowning. Who do you save? etcetc" so I'd have to say -- I need more evidence of what it IS exactly I'd be dying for, and what afterlife I'd be going TO if this is a deity talking to me... you know, I've paid some dues, in time and money and effort, to the cause of rock and roll so I could ask what rock n roll can do for ME, instead of the other way round...

Hmm...I'm not sure about this quezstion...conflicting thoughts and ideas running through my head...I have given my life to rock n' roll; I figure that's gotta count for something...

i had a break after last somester ended but then this one started, see ? but don't worry, there'll be plenty of summer seizing still! i only take 3 courses per somester, and i only go to school monday thru thursday, so really it's more leisurely then working all summer i think. and i get a four week break in august, at which time i'm going to go to Tofino w/ jae and stay at his uncles house on the beach for a bit, his uncle built the place himself, and he's an artist too right so it looks like something out of that show "weird homes", it's totally beautiful. so yeah, plenty of time to seize...
there are so many bands on my list! i thaught when i moved over to van i'd get to see them all, i've gotten to see alot of em', like frank black, elliot smith, the residents (which was FUCKED UP, i don't know if you've seen those guys) radiohead and so on. but obviously i want to see godpeedyoublackemporer real bad. Helium would be cool, i used to listen to those guys all the time as a teenager and that mary timony has always been kind of a schoolgirl crush...maybe if they (or she) came here i could stalk her? i don't know...i don't think girls like that.
speaking of girls, that lucille sure is cute, eh? there's this girl in my poli sci class that looks alot like her, and today i was just like, casually looking over at her and she happened to look at me at the same time and we both saw eachother and i was like AAHHH!!! and immediately proceded to stare at the floor for the rest of the lecture...i know i know, sad...

I couldn't make a list of the bands I can't believe I missed...it makes me so sad to think about...but I guess, the biggest ones would have to be: Pulp, the Ramones, The Beatles, The Zombies, Joy Division, Psychedelic Furs, and The Jam.

Great, now I'm all sad....

...but in less crass observations, I too need alone time. It was the strongest incentive to move out of the parents'. "And to look cool to women?" Well, yeah, theoretically, but I never look cool to women. Which is fine...I only need to look cool to the one right woman. The other boys n girls can think what they want.

I'm afraid I've forgotten the details of yr band....you play OUT three times a week? or rehearse? Cuz surely that's a BIG difference.

my brain was okay i think after all the dope and stuff, i had to study for this quiz i had last week but i think i did allright on it. it's weird 'cause in someways it can help me to be a little smoked up when i am studying, i guess it tkes the pressure off and really, my attention span is about as long as my stubby little fingernails no matter what, so, it doesn't seem to be affected too badly..
thank-you i have had a good day indeed i hope you have lots of fun building computers today! but don't let them steal your brain...they'll try that , you know, they are gonna take over just you wait and see!

... the show was in maryland, it started out rough because we forgot the set list, and then had to make one up on the spot, and we played a lot of songs that i usually play on the mandolin, but i didn't feel like playing it that night, so i just played guitar. the first set we did a lot more of our slower songs, but for the second set we pulled out the good ol' country rockers and shook that fucker up...
