this silent remorse
this faded regard
I'd stare to the sun
but I've fallen too hard
now all of these stars
that swirl round my eyes
feel nothing so vain
as the ones in the skies
It's not that I'm broken
or that I can't see
It's just I've forgotten
what it's like to be me
I look at my pictures
and memories of the past
but the real problem here
is I have no one to ask
even if I could
how would they ever explain?
when there's nothing, it seems
to discover again...
