I'm looking forward this weekend to doing a whole lot of nothing, since I seem to have had things to do almost every weekend this month so far. Will be nice to just sit back, watch some TV, play some PS2 and not have to drive all over and do stuff. Though, I am on call for work this week/weekend, so that could be a bitch if I get support calls at like 2am and stuff. Otherwise though, it should be good.
Friday Five
1. What book or books were special to you in your childhood?
I read just about anything back then. Hardy Boys, Bruno and Boots were a couple of favorites I remember. Also the Chronicles of Narnia. I got more into SciFi/Fantasy in my teens.
2. What was particularly special or memorable about those books?
Uhm... they were good?
3. Have you re-read any of them as an adult?
Just the Gordon Korman ones from my childhood. I have re-read the Scifi/Fantasy stuff on a number of occasions.
4. If so, were the books as good as you remembered them?
Most of them were yep. Now if only the TV shows I remember watching were as good as I remembered them. ![]()
5. What do you think about movies being made out of children's classics (like the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of The Rings, etc.)?
I like it, especially since they have been doing such a good job of them.
For anyone who was interested in seeing me in a tux, there is a photo of the wedding party at my friend's wedding last weekend. I'm 2nd from the right in case you couldn't find me.

I've been stuck out in Hamilton now for 3 years, and it's been 3 years of temp jobs at factories. I'm getting to that point where I just have to make a change. I also really need to get out and be social more. Once a week is rather hard on me (in comparision to what I'd really like).
