I had to renew my driver's license this year/month and I just got my new card in the mail tonight when I arrived home from work. And for the first time in my 17 years of driving in the province of Ontario, I actually have a decent photo on my license. No one made me stand a certain way, or laugh or not wait for me to get into position. I was ready, I was turned slightly to get a better profile image, my hair was tied back nicely and the whole thing ACTUALLY looks good. I'm in shock. I almost thought it was next to impossible to not look like a total moron on your driver's license. My last 2 photos had me looking like a complete dweeb - due to being in the middle of laughing while the photo was taken - and a serial killer, due to having worked a14 hour shift before going to renew my license. I don't remember the one before that, but I was like what, 17? I'm pretty sure I looked goofy.

So maybe the rest of my week hasn't been very good, but damn it, I look good when they ask me for ID now!
