Well, since I am new to this place I suppose I should post something to get started?
For my birthday this year, my friend got me a membership to SG. I have been a lurker/fan for a few years now and never got around to joining up, but after attending the galla in Toronto a couple of months ago and realizing that I didn't know anyone there, I thought it might be a good idea to maybe get to know a few people before the next one?
I have only recently acquired ink on my body, though it has been in my mind to do so for many years. I'm sure there will be more to come down the road. But I want to make sure that each tattoo means something to me. My first is of the Left Eye of Ra, or the Eye of Thoth and symbolizes both my love of ancient Egyptian culture and the Moon, under which my sign (cancer) was born.
I look forward to exploring this place a bit more and maybe meeting some new people along the way.
