I totally splurged on a veggie burrito from Chipotle and a rather large Young's Double Chocolate Stout. I am in heaven. I figure the splurge is okay because I am having dinner with Stephen tomorrow night and I get paid on Friday, and I still have a half tank of gas...so? So, a girl deserves a treat every now and then.

I went to the La Jolla library, which is woefully behind when it comes to stocking Chuck Palahniuk novels. However, I did manage to find L.A. Confidential by James Ellroy, a novel that has been recommended to me time and again by my amazing/favorite literature professor in college. I also decided to give One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez one more try. As a literature major, it is pretty much against the law that I haven't read it yet. Goddess knows I've tried, but I always fall asleep (shhhhhh... don't tell the literture major patrol cops.)

I'm going to get some YUMMY booty on May 8th. Sooooooooo excited.
