I went to Athens last weekend to visit my best friend 'Ki. She was frustrated with her boyfriend, the Wiener, because he's a social worker and spends all his time helping an impoverished eleven year old learn to read. That's a really hard fight to pick. We went to Potter's House (lame) and Good Will (much less lame) and the eldest Wiener had an art show for her graduating class that we went to. We descended upon the buffet pretty much immediately. Then I got a call from Terry wanting me to come back and go to some party.

Almost got arrested. Again. Damn this eight month wait. It's only going to get more painful the closer I get. I accidentally implied to Terry that his friends' parties suck, and now he's even more insecure. It's not that they suck, it's just that they're so random. No one talks to each other, they just run around guzzling booze and shouting. And the cops always show up.

Today, we're going to look for jobs around campus. Boo. And I think I missed a science exam last week (I haven't been to class since before spring break), so I have to go in and check it out. He's really cool and I'm hoping I can weasel a make-up test.
