Each day a roller coaster.

As an undergrad in a different field I had always heard that stage 4 cancer moves quickly, but in the past two weeks my uncle's cancer has spread so rapidly. I can only hope that he holds out till I can make the trip to his home state.

After my father, and sisters passed away. My uncles essentially took over my father's role. Making sure that I continued on my path, encouraging me to continue my education. I guess that one thing that I can hold on two is that over my past two weeks 2 papers came out of the work, and may be published. My uncle was informed when he was cognitively aware, and it made him happy. If I can't be in control, at least I can make him smile.

In addition I have started to really sing again. I haven't done this since my sisters passed, and my voice is a lot deeper than it used to be. I can still sing the part of the phantom, but my voice is now darker, and I can hit lower notes. Since I switched from opera to rock/blues several years back, I think it works. Even if it is only to release some of the pressure.
