The long and winding road ...
I have been pushing the limits of my body and my mind for two weeks now. And, I am now going to rest. Work started at 8 am, and ended at 2 am. I have never worked on that kind of a time scale. It got so thick I couldn't tell if I was working on a biological model, or a network topology model. My monte carlo method has crossed wits with my FDM schemes.
My uncle's cancer was worse than we thought. I was gone for two weeks, and it has already spread to his brain. Working helped bury the feeling, but the wound is still sore. I spent some of my work time hijacking a piano at the hosting school. I think at some point I switched from singing leadbelly to singing don't stop believing (gotta love beer).
