I am a very excited girl. Why you may ask? Well for starters today is the end of the week! Yeah! When you only get one day off a week it becomes extreamlly precious.
And reason number two is that I get to do the Congress of Vienna Waltz
Every other month the Gaskell Ball takes place in Oakland. Most people around here have never heard of it, but it's awesome. They're is this whole underground society of historical dancing costuming geeks that get together to do the waltz and the polka! I'll be looking forward to alot of this
It may seem like an odd thing for a bunch of hip (heh, right) young girls from the bay area to be spending their Saturday night at, but it is more fun than you can shake a stick at. Really.
This is my new dress I just bought to wear. It's a little tight, which always gets interesting when you're out on the dance floor running around in circles and not being able to breath properly. But last time I wore a corset so this wont be that bad
