i dig monroe, e johnson, willy street much more. state street is slowly being taken over by big business. the smaller specialty places are diminishing. i think other parts of madison are cool b/c you don't see so many co-ops and small businesses in other cities. (plus, i own my own business and i pride myself in supporting others that do the same)
