I hate this blog crap but I haven't written a word that isn't an essay in the past three months so maybe maybe maybe....
Things -- things are all right. Visiting family relatively often but am growing more and more drained the longer I stick around. Atlanta, that is. Not my family.
Finally got up the ego to start asking girls out again. Gone on a couple of dates. Got a couple of numbers. I think I scare women for the most part, though.
I got my first C this semester. I'm kind of glad, even though I really hated the class and worked at least hard enough to merit a B. I've always been so stressed about it before. Now, I really don't find much validation through my GPA.
The skies are clearer lately now. Not just in Athens, though; in Atlanta too. I spent almost an hour talking to this girl named Jackie about bullshit while looking at the sky last night. It's times like these I like being named after a constellation.
I have a lot of story ideas. I need to write them down, they flow in and out a lot all of the time. Examples:
A "Heart of Darkness"-esque rendition of war-torn America. Relating to our reaction to real and actual domestic terrorism rather than a basic fear of it (as with almost any other country except ours. Will model after the IRA and drug lords of South America.). About a pilot trying to find a news agent lost in rebel states. Inspired by Pan Am pilots during the Korean War.
A lovesong to women and not understanding them ala "Broken Flowers". I need to write a love story while separating my own personal angst from the issue. Model after the idea of women rather than the reality. Goes along with my drinking motto. BBC.
A hostage story that takes place in a police station. Political bullshit. Short story possibly. Maniac massacres several police, takes 12 hostage and kills one per hour. A negotiator is in there with him, also a hostage. Very psychotic. All out menacing.
