So I got my bike. I went for a nice little ride, just shy of 6 miles. It felt wonderful to be back on a bike again. I felt like I was 10 again. I also noticed it felt good to be outside and doing something. I am actually looking forward to riding again tomorrow afternoon. I spent about $620 on the bike so I want to get my moneys worth.
I am worried about Mikey. He is in Cook County Jail and will be there until the next boot camp starts. Then he will be in the bootcamp for 4 months. I miss him very much and I cannot wait to go see him.
I got an A on my test in the Sociology 206 class. I was extremely worried about it but I am very relieved now. I hate this class and I am losing my zeal for sociology. I am finding that a lot of it is just liberal bullshit and that it seems to be made up. I understand the concepts and I like the idea but the fact is that it can be interpreted in any manner the sociologist wants and I dont think it truly is a science. It boils down to the simple fact that people do have control of their lives and social forces may pressure them to do something but they are not forced to because of them.
I want to just get in shape and join the police department. That is my only goal right now. I want to move out of Illinois as I am tired of it here. I want to go somewhere and start fresh once I am done with college. I love my friends and family very much but I want something a little different.
I think I am going to change my major to History. I am also considering double majoring in Sociology as I am pretty far into it. I also want to learn to speak Spanish. My spanish is very weak and limited. If I want to be a police officer it will help me a lot to learn spanish. My goal is to move somewhere south like Florida. Florida state has a large need for cops right now. And I want to jump on the bandwagon ASAP. Somewhere in Southern Florida primarily. Probably Miami.
I got my HK magazines today. I now own 9 pistol magazines. All of them hold more than 12 rounds and when the next assault weapons ban passes they will increase in value drastically. I paid about $25 each but they will probably go as high as $175. I will have to buy more!!!
Anyways I am going to go to bed. I did not think riding a bike would be so strenous. Its been years.
