Well Christmas was not to bad. I got a lot of clothes and some money. Bill and Mikey got me a lot of books so I will be reading a lot in the coming year.

My friend Joe got engaged and I met him up for a drink at the local pub. Anyways I met a few friends of his (all 3 were Chicago PD) and they seemed like nice guys. I asked one of them how deep a background check they do and if I would have to worry about bad credit. He said not really. He said if I can pass the physical and the written test I would be hired most likely.

Anyways I am happy to hear that. I just now need to start hitting a gym. Yet another reason I want ot get to ISU soon. I talked to Sonny and he says I can move in whenever. I am going to try soon. I will speak to my boss about transfering to the Panera down there ASAP.

I also need to call ISU and figure out my Financial Aid since my Stafford loans were directed towards SIU. This is just a pain in the ass but I will get it done.

I am going to watch some more Firefly.
