I have new shoes. Hurrah. I told a friend of mine yesterday, when we were both sitting at the shoe store, "Had I the money, I would dress like a 50's pin-up queen all the time." She told me I could pull it off.

The two of us have inordinately large feet. She wears a size eleven, and I wear a size twelve. So, finding shoes that fit us is a trial, but fun. I snagged myself a pair of tweed and patent leather high heels, because, damnit, I will be more classy at work and when going out.

Around the house, jeans, t-shirts and flip flops are de rigeur.
