after three hours of standing outside in the freezing cold last night, boyfriend in tow, watching me being a talking head, listening to me bitch about the bar we were in front of, after alienating people, nearly falling down on the ice, and my ass becoming absolutely numb ... i came home and knit my little fingers off.

and after all that, i can say that the sun feels absolutely wonderful now. the fact that it's shining is a beautiful thing indeed. here in cowtown, we only have three more sunny days that seattle.

(in other news, my echocardiogram and blood tests came back fine, i have to hand in my holter monitor tomorrow afternoon)

and i forgot my lunch, because i'm an idiot. but that's okay, because when i get home, the hardware sorcerer is coming over, and she's going to give me sewing lessons on the sewing machine she gave me for christmas.

i have amazing friends.
