Whoever says I don't have anger issues are seriously wrong. I can be giving you the sweetest, most sickening smile and going "it's okay, it's no problem" when I'll be secretly picturing shoving you off a cliff.

It's nothing, really. Little shit bothers me. I'm not paid enough to be your bitch and clean up messes you trail behind you. It's probably just West County in general. Maybe I'm jealous...girls my age are handed $100 from their daddies on a daily basis ("buy something nice for yourself") when I can hardly afford $30 for gas every week. My parents can't afford to spoil me or my siblings. Hell, they can hardly afford community college for me. I'm transferring somewhere else soon (either Boston, or if I stay here, I'll aim for Maryville or SLU, I know I've the grades) and I can't even begin to imagine how I'll be able to pay for it. It's sad...because both of my parents work +40 hour weeks; both are very well-educated and hold high positions.

It makes me think. And worry. I'm putting my application into St. Luke's in a few weeks, I think. I miss working with the old folks. Retail isn't cutting it anymore.

I gave up school when my mom started talking about taking on a second job even though she already worked overtime and had a bum ankle. In retrospect I think it would have been kinder to her to graduate in order to provide myself with more options for a secure future. That's the kind of thing we should all let our parents give us. I wish I'd known then.

Yeah I work at Crestwood Mall and its no fun either. Pursue your dreams and it'll come through. Just keep working at it and never give up on what you want and you'll get there. Never settle.
