Ok, here's my mini rant of the...week? month? Eh, whatever. My co-workers and I were discussing it yesterday and we all agreed.

People, when going to check out at a store or doing anything that involves someone at their designated occupation serving you, pleasepleaseplease get off your cellphones. It's so rude. I have countless customers every day and night who are yapping away on their cellphones when I'm checking them out and I never have an idea whether to ask if they want their receipt in the bag, or their zip code if they're using a credit card, etc. because they're busy talking to someone else. A lady yesterday asked why I didn't say a word while she was talking on her cell, before she was leaving. I basically said that I was taught by my parents to not interupt someone's "important" conversation by any means. She looked kind of ashamed of what she did, which was my point. Believe it or not, Walgreens pharmacy techs ARE people too (grin), as are people in the retail business.

So PLEASE end your conversation when you get to be first in line or wander around the store still talking, or even say "can you hang on for a sec?" and set the phone down while the clerk is serving you. I realize we're being paid for this and such but still, just show them the same courtesy they show you.

I'm done...but I swear that ticks me off. That and people who have their cellphones stuck to their head while driving, except some people can actually do it without making an ass of themselves on the road, my dad and boyfriend being two of them.

I feel better now!

Off to classes I go, dear-loves. xoxo.
