thank god (not that i believe in him/her/it) that i'm out of america's armpit: Michigan and out west again among the glorious evergreens and dry mountain air. tahoe california is absolutely gorgeous and i couldn't have asked for a better location. my apt. is two blocks from the beach, 5 blocks to the casinos and 4 blocks to work. i don't know if anyone will read this and be like "gee, i'm glad he's happy," but it's true and it's been a long time coming and long over due. when one leaves behind a draining, meaningless relationship for a bright future, happiness tends to be the outcome.
