First day of doing the green sludge thing the owner of the tattoo parlor where I work does. Yes. Green sludge. It's called supergreens. It's like eating four salads or something, there's wheatgrass and alfalfa and all that ace green pulpy stuff. it cleans out your system and shit. There's this whole complicated medical theory where it "alkalizes" your blood or something, under the assumption that almost everything we eat is acidic... but really it just makes me really energetic and kind of lightheaded. It said that would happen, though, so I'm not too worried. Energetic is good. Also, at the very least, I know it won't kill me because my boss drinks it like water. It looks foul, but mostly it just tastes like unsweetened herbal tea with some extra grit up in there. Yum. Vitamins. Anyway, this sludge is supposed to make me a happier, healthier individual, so I'll let you know if it works.

I'm going to be spending 4th of July alone. All of my friends are going to upstate new york to hang out with my exboyfriend. I, understandably, have passed on that opportunity, but am now stuck at home... with no one to hang out with. Maybe I'll sit on my roof and watch the fireworks and smoke bowls, and perhaps cry a little bit.

Oh, wait, my roof is slanted.
Way to fuck up my plan, house. I'm sure I'll be able to find SOMEONE who'll chill with me. I hope.

Back to work tomorrow. The time off has been good, but it's back to the restaurant for six shifts in four days.

At least I have pretty clothes from vintage stores to keep me smiling. Ah, the healing power of fashion. Pictures to come? Maybe? You know, for my own private enjoyment. Since no one reads this.

That's kind of nice, in a way.
