Cat Power may be the only person who really understands me. At least at the moment.

I'm going to read some graphic novels before I get my solid 4 hours of sleep to wake at 7:30 and keep going until 1:30 or 2 in the morning. Man, I love college. I complain, but really, I like being run into the ground. It's the little games I like to play with my brain- how much pressure can I take until I actually become a completely nonrational being?

But making out sure is nice, I'll tell you that much. This boy... this boy. Is amazing. Spectacularly amazing. Ooohoo, yes. Not having a boyfriend in a state some 700 miles away is quite a change, but so far, an almost entirely positive one. That tends to happen when one extricates themselves from a cycle of psychological abuse.

Fuck psychological abuse, man. I need to respect the person I'm dating. I also need them to respect me, and if he was willing to lie to me... well, then, I have my answer. It's painful, but necessary. If I didn't have my principles, I wouldn't be who I am, and I'm beginning to quite like who I am.
