james is fucking amazing, just in case you didnt know.

we opened presents at 1:30am. we couldn't wait. who knows, maybe we'll be starting that as a tradition.

james got me my favourite perfume (stila creme bouquet... mmmm), some awesome canisters abnd an oil decanter (i am obsessed with these things. kitchen visual perfection makes me happy.) and a PANINI GRILL FROM CRATE AND BARREL.

now for those of you who dont know me well, here's the deal with that. i make an amazing roasted red pepper florentine panini. totally vegetarian, one step from vegan (actually converts excellently) and delicious as all get out. i have been having to make them in a pan for years, burning myself, causing uneven toasting and the like. i have lusted a panini grill forever.

and now i have a beautiful, telfon-coated, complete-with-warranty, high end, PROFESSIONAL one, from fucking crate and barrel. [ special thanks also go to khryptic for this one. ]

i got James a pound of his favourite chocolate ( from belgian company Neuhaus) that I had to get from New York because the Florida store closed. There are now 3 stores in the USA. This chocolate is a step away from god. i also got him a Nikon Coolpix 3200. He's wanted a digital camera forever, and he deserves it.

i love xmas now. finally, one good one to erase 22 years of bad ones.

now let's hope the dinner goes as well.
