it's been a quiet day and i've been up since 8:45, which for someone who generally requires 10+ hours of sleep (i know, i know..) this is something of a miracle. Aside from some testing at the jobby-job today, i've been devoted solely to laundry.
i'm thinking of dyeing my hair. not sure what colour though. i'm a natural blond who's been dyeing her hair darker since she was 13. so. any suggections other than blond are certainly welcome
i can't wait for the holiday parties so i can finally meet some friends fo real fo real.

You asked about my experience in glassblowing. I started as an apprentice right out of high school (1989). My friends parents owned a glassblowing shop. They did that Mt. St. Helens ash glass stuff. They needed help down there and my friend asked me to help them out. When I went in I guess I impressed them a lot and they offered me a job. I was an assistant for about six months then I was promoted to one of the head glassblowers. Thru the years I worked there and for many other artists around Seattle. In 96 I moved to Bermuda to work there. The job didnt work out so I came back about a year later. I then moved to Oregon. I lived there for two years part of that time I was backpacking around Australia for 3 months. Time of my life. I finally moved back to the Seattle area and started to get ready to open my own shop. I have finally set up shop in Redmond. It has been extremely tough but things are starting to roll pretty well. There are plenty of schools around the country that teach glassblowing. I dont know of any in your area so you might have to take a trip to get to one. I know there is one in New Orleans.
