5,000 miles in distance, 6 hour time difference, totally different life-happenings, possibly not seeing each other for 8 more fucking months ='s one really unsustainable relationship.

i'm doing OK. there had to be a change. i was really unhappy. i wanted more. but how can you get your needs met when you both have completely separate lives? you can't. god, this hurts. because it's not about lack of love. is it? no, it's about fucking logistics and physical distance. fuck!! i want to be together but we just can't right now. i just have a hard time handling that fact. i get crabby.

so. onwards and upwards. i have been thinking about dating now and i feel that i would be available for that. i have done so much emotional/relationship work in the past two years that it would be completely counterproductive to crawl into a ball and be weak. i need to be strong now and i actually feel like i have the energy for that. so that's what i shall do. i shall be strong. word.
