Just in from Viva Las Vegas! On my third cup of coffee and unloading my gear. The weather was just beautiful and all the bands were great! The Shifters car show just keeps getting better and better every year! And to see the Munsters hearse car up close was amazing! Won a little bit of money and lost a little. Already thinking of next year!
missprint:
Glad to hear you had a good time. I'll be sure to check out one of those wild card dj events when I get the chance. Well, I see you're still not in SGBoston. There is now an SGProvidence and they're nowhere near as choosey. Anyway, have a good night, and lay off the coffee!
missprint:
I was just parusing the SGBoston boards and noticed that you are in. Guess theyre not as choosey as I thought wink Congratulations.

What's with this blast of cold? Finishing up my coffee, checked the weather channel and getting ready to head to the airport for Vegas! It's going to be a great weekend!!!!!
missprint:
I'm sure he isn't shutting you out. It doesn't look like he's checked his journal in a while. Maybe he's just afraid you'll steal all the ladies. Who knows. I've been in SGBoston for about a week. You're not missing much, as far as I can tell. I think I may have seen the Fabulous Itchies play a Providence Payback a few years ago, but it's all a blur. Is their guitarist in the Deterrents?

On my third cup of coffee, enjoying the sun and getting ready to meet the day and catch the opening of Christopher Guests new film "A Mighty Wind."
A folk Spinal Tap! Brilliant!

I'm a graphic design major. My job gives me just enough money to keep me in all of my bad habbits without depleting my meager savings.

I wanted to see the Epoxies with the Groovie Ghoulies, but I had work and class, so I planned on going to the show at The Sickle in Providence. Unfortunately, a friend called me crying from the hospital earlier that night. I had to drop everything and hop a train to Boston. Such is life. I'll catch them another time.
missprint:
I'm living in Providence for now, because I go to school here. My sister lives in Cambridge, so I'll be back and forth a lot for shows this summer. As for graphic design, I'm still very much in training. I've thought about switching to furniture because I'm more of a 3-d person, but we were required to buy a computer for GD and I never like the idea of quitting something anyway. Enjoy Vegas!

Just found out from a friend that The Cramps are coming to Boston (May 19/Roxy) after all. We all thought that NYC was the last stop. Gotta get those tix!
missprint:
Awww. You put me in your friends list with Roxy Epoxy. Don't I feel special. That's crazy that we were both at that show. I felt kind of bad about not staying for Suspect Device, but I had to go.

As for my job, it's not as dirty as it sounds (I wish). I work for Risd's fund raising office calling people and sweet-talking them into making donations.

missprint:

Caught the Epoxies with The Groovie Ghoulies and Aper this past Wednesday in Cambridge. Chatted with Roxy before the show about all things punk rock, the 80s, candy and suicide girls. She's wonderful! kiss
