So in two weeks my job will take a drastic change. For the next year, I will be a member of the "elite" that work the second shift. No more getting up at ass fucking crack of dawn and being to work by 6 in the morning. Now instead of ending work at 4 pm, I'll be starting at 4 pm and going till 1 or 2 in the morning. So back to the college/ weekend sleeping schedule of staying up late and sleeping in till 11 or noon.
So I still haven't decided whether this a good or a bad thing. On one hand I don't the ability to go out on weeknights, which I rarely do anyways, have to get a whole new crew of people to trust me and see that I'm not there to take their jobs, no prime time t.v., and no real friday nights. Also I loose the ability to watch a full Red Wings and / or Pistons playoff games
On the other hand though I get more sleep then I'm getting now, my weekend basically goes till Monday night, the work crowd on second shift is a bit younger, I'll be able to get things done during the day, I'll be able to work out everyday so I'll get back into good shape, and I do have the amazing technology that is TiVo so I guess I won't miss everything on prime time t.v. (How sad is that I'm listing television watching as a pro and a con). So let's that makes 5-5 (ir you don't count the TiVo fact cause that's not a variable per se), statistically a draw. Now if I were to way each of these reasons, I would have way to much time on my hands plus I don't have enough experience with the sets of reasons to determine which would be weighted higher and this rambling about statistics is one of the reasons I don't have a girlfriend.
So in conclusion, nothing really can be concluded until we'll say May or so when I've been doing this for about 4 months. So until then look for the updates and evidence gathering that will be my life
