as much fun as it was to freak out the freaks with religiously themed dildos, i am jealous that you got to sing along with simon lebon. they were indeed my junior high heros.

I suffer greatly from nefarious spamming. I get these intriguing emails in my box, titled "your order" or "make special new friends" or "pink fuzzy" and I open them and read hot screaming cum orgazm --- owww - my eyes

that rocks, I've seen them elsewhere recently. Did you ever know anyone who owned a "green machine"? Similar to the big wheel but steered funny from the back wheels or something. How goes it with the cute guy from a few posts back?
taurus:
hmmm

I had to re-read. I had a date with a guy I met at a wedding. Very nice. And I guess I went out with a guy I met through a dating site. Not so great, although he called again. Then I went to dinner with a friend. That was pleasant. Nothing much happening in the romantic world.

all these new CDs. I am soooo happy. Mike Doughty's new CD Haughty Melodic.

I remember seeing Soul Coughing on the East Coast at one of those beautiful outdoor venues. I had never heard them before, and I will never forget the sight of this tall bald, white skinned poet slamming out words to the backbeat of an upright bass and a geek at...

I used to be way into SC- still one of the most original bands of the last 10 years for my money. I saw Doughty perform with John Zorn in Vancouver a few years ago- it was incredible.
Did you get those banners I sent you? I'd really like to get some sort of mini-campaign going. I will be working on your banners starting tonight.....

I may in fact, be addicted to cheese. I am possibly, a cheese-aholic. I noticed this behavior only recently. After midnight I hunger for the salty, sweet taste of the Cheddar, and I wake up feeling puffy and bloated. I stagger to the kitchen and there are the tell-tale signs of a late-night cheese binge: the forlorn grater, the cracker crumbs, the greasy plate. The...

"One step forward, two steps back" Well, I suggest you're already a quarter of the way through a 12-step program. "Bow to your partner, promenade your corner" You may have hit on something here. And, in fact, we here at Jed's Square Dance Therapy and Used Carpet Center feel that you are just a mere fiddle bow away from a full recovery. Come on down and, while you're perusing our gigantic inventory of plush, triple-pile and berbers, feel free to take a spin around the dance floor.* You'll be glad you did!

* Jed's Square Dance Therapy and Used Carpet Center is not responsible for damage to shoes or boots caused by stray carpet tacks. Emergency cheese ration not included.

Hooray for you and cute guy! As for the other one, you could always put in some extra effort and send him two letters, like F U perhaps.
Maybe you could answer me a question. Of the dozen or so gals I've written to from a personals site in the last year only one sent me a note saying she wasn't interested (or has met somebody or whatever). I thought that was awful nice of her. Do you think gals just get so many emails that they give up being considerate? I think I'm reasonably entertaining in my emails and I'm pretty sure I'm not creepy. What gives?
On a more positive note, the Russian Girls are all totally in love with me. They can hardly contain themselves, I constantly get messages like this: "Hello for you, I have the name of Svetlania and my soul searches for love with the truthful man such as yourself. I wish for being a wife of kind American man who God has sent for me. I believe you are being this man." Totally hot, huh?

Happy (insert preference here) day!

I actually gave your idea a thought for a second (about putting up an ad as a female). Mostly because I think I've exhausted any likely candidates on match here in Vegas. If they don't let me undergo a sex change and keep the subscription I paid for I'll just do something like this for kicks: "arrogant womanizer seeks cook who knows her place" or maybe simply "don't give me no lip, woman." I figure getting my money's worth of abuse is better than paying a third party so I can talk to myself. Plus maybe it could be theraputic for gals who've had rotten guys to let off some steam. And who knows, maybe there's even one gal there with a sense of humor psychotic enough to get a laugh.

so my friend called me yesterday and she wanted to know what a "Hollaback Girl" was, from the Gwen Stefani song. So of course, I Googled it, and here's the hysterical article I found. OC weekly analysis

and a sample:

Gonna get a touchdown,
gonna take you out

Gwen Stefanis Hollaback Girl is one of the most baffling pieces of music of the modern age....
