Yeah you should, but only if they are interesting. i met a girl from austin (coincidence not hinting at you 
and she was the coolest thing ever. I live in massachusetts so who knows what can happen (she moved here) If they do the "I want to do you type thing than forget it, but if they are something impressive at least email em back.

depends on if you want to spend time emailing someone you may not see rather than someone local...
