My cousin.

My cousin and I grew up together. Because both of my Parents passed away when I was young, my Aunt (Mother's side) adopted me. My cousin is only a year younger than me, so it was kinda neat having a little sister for the first time. We were best friends and worst enemies throughout those years growing up. Now, as adults, she inspires me, she makes me tear up with laughter, she makes me happy.

She has been pursuing a musical degree up in Baltimore for the past few years now. I think the pressure she puts on herself, the being alone and away from family, the no one to talk to, has made her depressed. She called me last night. I was terrified to hear her crying and belligerent........

I am going to Baltimore. This is VERY last minute. The 20th - 29th. I promised her I would go up there as soon as I possibly could as long as she promised me she wouldn't do anything irrational again. *pinky swear*

Due to this unexpected trip, my birthday plans next week have to be cancelled. I have VERY LIMITED funds. I would like to hang out with all my friends and just drink some beer or whatever. I don't even know if anyone would want to or can come hang out anyway.

This is the last picture we took together. It was during SXSW. We both thought it looked cool because the lights around her head made her look like the SMOKING SAINT.
