We all survived Ozzfest yesterday. I am burnt to a crisp! Was it worth it? Hell YES! I don't even know where to begin. We were in the first 1,000 people to get in so we all got special PINK wristbands that gave us special access to the second stage to watch OZZY up close and personal! I had missed Ozzy's perfromance at 2004 cuz we left early. WE were treated to a concert unlike any other on the planet. 13 1/2 hours of hard and heavy man. I met FULL BLOWN CHAOS, ALL THAT REMAINS, AND WALLS OF JERICHO. I also got to meet and talk with LACUNA COIL again and was surprised when 3 of the band members remembered me from '04's show and were more than hospitable. The lovely Cristna even auto'd the snaphot I had of her and I. They all said the love was mutual when I flashed my LC tattoo from my elbow. Their photog even snapped it to post on EMPTYSPIRAL.net, their official site (I'm a member).
We got right up to the stage for BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, but about 4 songs in, a fight broke out in front of us and we had to haul it out of there and back up about 50-60 feet to a sfe distance. The OZZY came on. The Prince of Darkness stole the show man! What can I say, he's OZZY!
Angel met and got auto's and pix of DISTURBED! She has a major jones for Dave Draiman!
AVENGED SEVENFOLD & DISTURBED were undoubtedly worth admission.
All in all, can't wait for OZZFEST '07.....maybe a reunited G'N'R as mainstage acts? hmmm....
