Ok, we FINALLY sold our dog last night to someone who answered our online ad. A very nice young Mom about 30 miles away. We drove out there, sold her the dog, told her every possible thing she would need to know about her and said "here is our number, if you have ANY questions at all feel free to call anytime. Just dont call me and say you've changed your mind and need/want your money back.
" She said oh no I Love her already, she's fine.
Went and bought my tickets for OZZFEST next weekend just minutes after the sale of the dog.
7:30 am I get a text message "We've changed our mind, we want to give the dog back and get our money back..." I called them back to find out WTF happened!!?? Apparently the dog cried all night (DUH?) and so they decided to re-nig. Sorry lady, I like you, you were very nice, but it's a DONE DEAL! WE don't want the dog back and we don't HAVE the money to return to you! I was polite and reassured her that the dog just needed time to adjust to it's new home, etc....
I feel like an asshole, but a justified one.....

And stupid lady, thinking the dog will adjust to a new home in such a short time. Some people shouldn't deal with animals....
