1:40 pm and I'm just now getting up.....I 'm so worn out.
The show last night was AWESOME!!! But it was about 40 miles each way and I just don't do that kind of driving anymore. But man, it was worth it. I went to see TARA TINSLEY & her band, and my perennial favorites THE DEAD END DARLINGS. It was a fantastic show and the audience response to both was really complimentary. Ariel from DED even walked the crowd afterwards and thanked everybody individually for being there whether she knew them or not. I was very impressed by that, as that is the type of genuine person she is, and why she is such a treasured friend.
There are some new pics from the show in my folders. Not great pics, but pics nonetheless. My cousin, ANDIE came with and it was a nice chance for her and I to catch up. She and I had NEVER ever hung out before, but she lives around the corner and we have lots of mutual friends, so it was kind of cool with the whole "NO WAY? YOU GUYS ARE COUSINS??!!" thing last night. A small world with 6 degrees of separation....
Playing a house party tonight with my still unnamed band. Need to work on that.....I am so sore......My arms and feet are killing me....
Ran into my old drummer Jeff last night too. That was a kick as I had never seen him drunk and he was a riot to talk to. Andie and I had some fun at his expense....
