"Sunday Morning.Praise the dawning" -The VelvetUnderground
just a cool song........
Yup, I have a hangover. Two blue hawaiians after dinner and I was "impaired". Maybe that's why I enjoyed the DVD I watched. The 50Cent movie - "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'". I don't hate Rap necessarily, but it's not exactly something I listen to on a daily basis either. But I will admit, I enjoyed the film and thought that 50Cent was believeable in essence portraying himself. It did kind of remind me of 100 other films I'd seen, but yeah, I enjoyed it.
My friend Kev (Dead End Darlings) sent me an e-mail saying he wanted to hook up today and write music. Might give him a call and try to get out of the house for a while. The munchkins are being abnormally sinister this morning, must be the daylight savings thing.....
Anyone else a VH-1/Celebreality whore like me? I love the Surreal Life and Flavor of Love. They bust me up. I know MC Hammer personally (his wife is SOOOO nice, and so is he) and he was such a good sport when he was on the first one with Vince Neil of Motley Crue. They actually became good friends, go figure? Hammer and his family were loyal customers of mine for several years and when I started getting really sick He and his wife reached out to me and were so incredibly kind and caring. He gave me a huge hug and told me if I needed ANYTHING all I had to do was ask. I still run into them around town and they always ask how I'm doing and how the kids are. Some celebrities rule and THEY are probably the nicest I have ever known. Didn't mean to name-drop, I don't go over there for dinner or anything, but I do consider them friends as I have know them for about 6 years.
Wifey has some Ocean documentary on Discovery Channel going (my attention is distracted)....Sharks rule!
OK, I need to eat, shower, commiserate, etc....
