I was going to do some sort of clever "APRIL FOOLS" day joke, but decided with all the bad stuff going on, I shouldn't tempt fate.
An update: The friend I mentioned yesterday that I had heard her voice .....I did speak with her yesterday and she had had an "emotional breakdown" at the exact time that I heard her call my name. She totally copped to it. Before I even mentioned it,the time, and everything. Then I told her what happened and she said that she KNEW I would be in tune to her and call......just gald she's doing ok, or at least as well as possible. The split is official today as her and the 6 kids move into her new place today. Her hubby (my old roommate, I introduced them) called her a whore and a money-grubbing bitch. I know that hurt deeply. I know that there are always two sides to every story, and I have been struggling to remain impartial , yet supportive. But I think the way that HE is dealing with the impending divorce is to lash out verbally at her. I hope they can resolve the problems amicably for their sake and all the kids' sake.
(BTW, Hello to new Friends - "Electric", "Lenox", and Ta2dmom....welcome to insanity in written word...The Church of the Diabolical Obsessively Compulsive Self-Loathing...)

Probably going to stick close to home today. The weather sucks and I only have $52 until Monday. The kids want to go see ICE AGE 2. so we'll see. YES, I want to see it too guys, jeez! Call me on the carpet why don't ya?

Actors: John Cusack, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds
Actresses: Sandra Bullock, Susan Sarandon, Natalie Portman
Song that makes me cry : "If I were that Good" by Alanis, that song fucking levels me everytime.
Best concert ever : (TIE) Elton John 1995/Oingo Boingo 1993
Worst Concert Ever : New Order 1993 such a letdown...

PS, my sister used to date the original drummer from Oingo Boingo. (A LOOOOONGGGG time ago.) He was the credited drummer on their first major release. Wayne Pedersen
