Ok.....back from San Francisco now. Here's what happened...
Logan's EEG form last week was not bad but not 100% normal either. Within the next couple weeks he will have to spend and entire day and evening (overnight) back in SF for monitoring. What he is having are called COMPLEX PARTIAL SEIZURES. Basically he could have epilepsy, broken blood vessels, or God forbid a brain tumor. So, no it wasn't bad news today necessarily, more like a let's wait and see thing. We got to talk to our kid's Pediatric Endriconolgist while there who was very happy about the pending arrival (new baby) but conceded that there is a 95% chance that the new baby will be diabetic as well which we kinda already knew.
When we got to my parent's house to pick up Tori, I got inot a heated thing with them because my Dad (a doctor) has been saying that Logan is not having seizures. Well, I blew up and yelled something along the lines of "I KNOW WHAT A FUCKING SEIZURE IS AND LOOKS LIKE, OK? HE'S HAVING FUCKING SEIZURES, SO THAT'S THE LAST TIME YOUR GOING TO TELL ME IT'S NOT WHEN YOU WEREN'T EVEN FUCKING THERE, ALLRIGHT?"......Yeah, I was pretty pissed when I said it. My dad is the coolest dude in the world and we are really close, but my Mom hates me and has for about 17 years so she NEVER has anything nice to say to me. She even told me that people with tattoos were a lower class of people. I fired back with, "WOW, THAT'S REAL FUNNY COMING FROM A FUCKING APPALACHIAN HILLBILLY!" (she was born and raised in West Virginia). Needless to say, that shut her up pretty quick. She always criticizes my parenting skills (or lack thereof) and is always nasty to me intentionally trying to say shit to set me off. Most of the time I bite though you would think by now I would be used to it and know better.
Anyhow, I need to eat dinner as we have been gone all day. Thanks for the well wishes guys, you know who you are
