Today I got some amazing news. I have just been appointed CFO for Vision Music USA. One of the owners lives here in Austin and is from Boston. If you don't already know, I lived there for 17 years after growing up in Detroit.
I will be working as their financial consultant and business advisor on a project by project basis for the next six months at which time I will become a full time member of the board of directors and receive a regular salary.
In the interim, I will work "some" full time job. I have had several interviews and I think a few fish bit the hook!
Managing the Hellcats is very rewarding right now. My cheerleading squad for the TXRD progressing nicely and I am looking forward to performing on August 1st. Burlesque Drill Team Cheerleading to a wonderful little musical number by Pantera! Can't fill you in on the specifics of our name until it is trademarked. However, the name hasn't been used.
Butch is on the road until Sunday and I won't see him until the rollerderby. Don't forget y'all Putas del Fuegos vs. Holly Rollers THIS Sunday, July 11th.
