About a year ago I had a boyfriend who asked me to marry him...Of course I said yes (like the fool I am) and we discussed moving to Austin. I decided on moving, he didn't. His feet became cold as ice and decided not to continue with the relationship. Which is great because after a while I probably would have become annoyed.
I worked at the same job for ten years for a funky retail clothing store as the operations manager/accountant. I guess for a good description, the store was similar to The Factory People on S. Congress. had two stores in Boston and two in New York. I gave my x-boss a four month notice and he let me go three months early.
Originally I was going to visit Austin on May 12 to look for an apartment, fly back to Boston and then move. However, due to my current unemployment issue, I found I would save a substantial amount of money if I moved earlier. So instead of visiting in May...I am moving in May.
I am acutally looking forward to new people, places, and things. The only last thing to do is get a job. Hopefully I can find a cool job doing what I do best. I have some friends that work at Whole Foods, so I may go that route to start.
My birthday is May 15 and I am hoping to go out and have a good time. I am not sure if there is anything going on that night, but I am sure someone will come up with something.

I hope you find someone who can do it very soon. Okay, well raw pork or not, we're eating something. You don't have to throw up, but I won't object if you do. Just don't do it on me. Throw up that is!
