Man I haven't written in here for ages, so here goes.
Last week we went away because pete has finally got a start date for the Prison. He's excited but nervous aswell and he looks so cute (and manly and a bit scary) in his uniform. So because we hadn't been able to take a proper holiday incase they called to offer him the job we took time off as soon as he got it.
My first day of holiday I had to go to the doctors because I am constantly tired, I have to have some blood tests done
but the doc said that I should try and sleep as much as poss. he doesn't seem to realise that I can sleep all night and get up mid afternoon, get up for an hour or so and then happily go back to sleep until tea time. This is a bit of a problem. Anyway hopefully it will be sorted soon, maybe I should be a cat, don't they sleep for 80% of their lives?
Second day I went into the city with Pete as he was having another tattoo done, it was on the inside of him left arm and it is the picture thats on the front of Marilyn Mansons Lest We Forget album but with no colour just black and grey tones. It was done by a visiting artist called Paul Roe (? that is probably wrong) But it looks great.
3rd day we went to York, I'm now come to realise I'm quite good at navigating, yay for me! So we went to York and it was amazing, so busy and tidy, loads of cool things to do and lots of stuff to buy.
Mini break down
Cliffords Tower
Castle Museum
York Dungeon, v good everyone has to see this
Fed the ducks
Railway Museum
The Minister
A ghost walk with the Ghost Detective (if you go and have a tour go with this man he's great, they meet outside the Jorvic Centre at 7.30pm every night except Xmas)
Jorvic centre
City Walls
Dick Turpins grave (twice and the one at night was a bit scary)
Chinese Buffet that was yummy!
I'm sure there was more but I can't remember, any way if you go visit the evil eye lounge thats down one of the shopping streets near the minister, we brought some samari swords from the shop opposite (hehe!)
Also go to the Coppergate shopping area things, theres a whisky shop thats sells minitures of hundreds of different whiskys and the Japanese shop that is soo cute!
Umm then we came home Sunday afternoon and didn't do anything until tuesday when we went to Wells, not v exciting but it was such a nice day we had to go out and about.
Also at work we no longer have to wear our evil blue nylon skirt, we've voted against it and now we get to wear our own clothes (as long as its smart), so over the passed couple of weeks I've ben buying loads of clothese aswell, yay for clothes!
I've watched
Seed of Chucky it was ok but not as good as the others.
Hitch Hickers guide to the Galaxy, again ok but not great.
Be Cool, crap and ironice, none of them want to make a movie about a girls journey to stardom but they are.
I've read a ton of books and brought some more in York so I currently have a pile of 6 to read. Here is a mini list of just a few:
The first 3 Harry Potter books, all v good suprisingly
The Girl who played Go, I like stories from the orient, quite good but a huge twist and an abrupt end.
The fat womans joke, odd but interesting
Ophelias revenge, another look at the classical hamlet but from another point of view
Back on the road, che Guevara travel diary, this made me want to read more about the man himself
Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl, haven't quite finished this yet but its great
Strippers guide to looking good naked, this book is great, I saw it on here and thought hmm that looks interesting and its such a great investment
Books I have to read:
Teach yourself Hierglyphs
Translated version of the Book of the Dead
Diary of Leonardo Di Vinci
Suicide Girls book (I've looked at the pics but haven't read the rest yet)
Another diray of a call girl but a french one I think and I can't remember the name
Pammy ndersons 2nd book Star struck or something, the first one was great so I thought I'd try this one
Something by Belinda Jone, my fav chick lit writer
The Story of O, I've wanted to get a copt of this for ages and now I have!
I think thats it, I'm never going to be able to afford a house so I'm going to have to build a house out of the books I read;
Ok thats it for now!
