I watched Alien vs Predator last night and it was amazing. I've seen both the Predator films previously and really enjoyed them but I'd only seen the first of the Alien films, so now I have to wach them all to remind myself what happens. Although I love Gigers art work and his creation of the Alien I have to say that I was routing for the Predators the whole time. As characters they have more depth, not killing people who are un armed or ones who are ill and don't pose a threat to them, they have those funny dred things and wear masks and they make cute little clicky noises where as the aliens dribble alot and just kidnap random people so they can host for their babies or just kill them. The alien tail was quite cool as a weapon and the queen was huge, an amazing sight in her own little way.
I started to read a Predator book which had a human lady as one of the hunters and in A vs P the main female character was so like the one from the book and it was great that the creator of the film made the predator help the humans.
Whats with the subtitle "Who ever wins we lose"? Thats obviously not true, sure earth loses a few armed dudes but from that phrase it sounds like the whole planet gets wiped out, it doesn't but until you watch the movie I guess you wouldn't know that.
I loved the temple and the detail inside it, and having a pyramid that moved every few minutes was clever as well, my favourite bit however was at the end when a mutant alien/predator was born, ohh the possibilities!
I also finished a book called The Rebel Fairy by Deborah Wright, it was good, quite funny. Fairies are great, I can't wait until I get my fairy wings! I've also read her book called Under My Spell about a girl whose a witch but wants to be normal blah blah, very good though, funny as well, now I just have to read Olivia's Bliss.

You should read the Alien books though, they're as good if not better than the actual films.
